WE DESPERATELY NEED FOSTER HOMES WITH FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES FOR KIDS AGES 8-18.
Interested in learning how to become a foster parent in your Wisconsin county? You have come to the right place. Community Care Resources is a statewide foster agency able to provide 24/7 local support services to all foster parents and children no matter the county. We are in desperate need of new foster homes wishing to help kids ages 5-18 and siblings.
Our home office is located in Dane County, Wisconsin. Additionally, we have local support services in dozens of counties throughout the state. We serve families and children in most areas of the state except for far-reaching northern counties.
Our Clinical Case Managers are located throughout Wisconsin to offer 24/7 professional support. CCM's provide important services to both foster parents and children. Children meet with Case Managers twice each month while foster parents receive weekly in-home visits. In addition, therapy services are provided locally and benefit kids with childhood trauma. In addition, continued education and training classes are offered in numerous counties throughout the year by our training staff.
Wisconsin kids enter foster care every day across Wisconsin. On average, we receive 40-45 referrals each month from counties across the state. Sadly, we are unable to place the majority of the kids because we do not have enough foster homes. We especially need foster homes for youth ages 8-18 and sibling groups.
You can read about some of the kids we were unable to place on our Child of the Week blog.
It is important to understand that we never know what county kids will come from so we need homes in ALL counties across the state. Homes are needed with flexible day-to-day schedules that offer a parent at home when the kids are at home. In addition, we desperately need foster parents willing to foster more than one child at a time.
