We understand that being a foster parent can be a challenging yet rewarding experience, and there are many reasons families decide to foster children. One thing we know for sure is foster parents cannot do it alone. To be a successful foster parent, there must be trusting relationships where foster parents feel supported. Trusting that an agency has your back and can help at all hours is critical. Services provided by the CCR team mean foster families can acquire the training needed and benefit from 24/7 support to enrich a child's life and help a child heal from trauma. It is our priority to ensure all foster parents receive an enhanced and individualized level of support, including:
We desperately need homes throughout Winnebago county to join foster parents like Carol and Dan. The couple has fostered seven children since being licensed in 2017. They have made tremendous differences with each foster child in their care during that time. Dan and Carol welcome kids between the ages of 6-13 in their home, boys and girls. We are grateful for their dedication and commitment. In addition to Doug and Cindy, we have families all over Rock county caring for sibling groups and teens. Please read about many of the kids in foster care hoping to find a loving home like David, who found himself back in foster care after his mom's death.
If you live in Winnebago County, chances are excellent you will be blessed to have Joy as your Case Manager. Joy has been with CCR for over 23 years and takes great pride in servicing and supporting her foster families and kids every week. She visits her families in their homes and schools to provide all necessary support, assistance, and encouragement.
Since 1989, we have helped thousands of kids grow by having highly trained foster parents who meet kids' higher emotional needs.
