What started as helping a high school friend for a few hours grew into days, then months… and eventually years.
When the children’s biological mother faced homelessness, the couple made a life-changing decision: they would not let these children face the world alone.
After five years of caring for the siblings, they faced a six-month reunification that put everything on hold. Loving them meant risking losing them, but they kept showing up with patience, hope, and unwavering love. And here they are, one big family.
When asked what they were most excited about, their answer was simple:

This day was more than a celebration. It was a reminder: love shows up, stays, and fights for children.
