Jane and Joan are going LIVE on Facebook. This is our first ever LIVE video and it will be full of great information. Get your questions ready to type in and join these two ladies as they share all the information you need about fostering with CCR.
Our Summer Training begins August 13 & 14. This is part one of our 4-day training. Part two will take place on September 17 & 18. If you are interested in beginning the process towards attending this training, please call Jane at 800-799-0450
Our training sessions are held on Monday/Tuesday. If you reside more than one hour from our Middleton home office, we will provide hotel accommodations on Sunday and Monday evening.
Please contact Jane if you would like information on how to get started with the requirements to become a foster parent. There are several steps to complete before attending a training session. We would be excited to speak with you and get you started on your fostering journey.
Absolutely. Your pets will need to be up to date on vaccines, and a pet's temperament will be discussed if there is a concern.
Can I choose the age of children I want to foster?
Foster parents can choose their preferred age range. However, if you wish to foster younger children, CCR asks for a minimum age range of 0-10 years, including openness to siblings. The greatest need across Wisconsin is more homes for young siblings and teens.
Parenting children and youth who have lived through trauma is hard. Their past abuse, neglect, and chaos often show up as big emotions, challenging behaviors, and deep mistrust. Traditional parenting approaches don’t work. CCR foster parents need flexibility, patience, and a willingness to meet kids in their hardest moments so they can finally feel safe—and begin to heal. Our team will support you 24/7.
