Update: It's been two months already! One night, after our online support group, another CCR family asked me and my husband if they could treat us to dinner sometime (to give us a little extra help). We had a very long, tough day when they sent the dinner, as the two older kids had a couple of difficult appointments. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end that day. Their support was very humbling and special to ALL of us. CCR is family!❤️
If more people were aware of the truth, heard the inspiring success stories, and engaged with a foster parent living this life, we could potentially have enough foster parents for all these amazing kiddos.❤

They had never been on a vacation, and we planned the trip to Niagra Falls before their arrival, so of course, they came with us. When we pulled out of the driveway, the little one wanted to hold my husband's hand while he drove. They stayed like that for quite a while.
When we got to the hotel, the kids immediately asked us if this was our new home. (Sobbing😭). We FaceTimed with our adult daughter, who was staying at our house, so she could show the boys that their beds, toys, and clothes were all still there and that we were just on vacation, not moving.
We had a fantastic time! We saw lots of sights and answered a million questions along the way. It wouldn't have been such a great trip without them! We love fostering and feel blessed that CCR placed these boys with our family!❤
