Brown County needs more foster families.
The greatest need is for families who are open to caring for children ages 2–18, especially young siblings and teens.
CCR is a statewide foster care agency, but foster parents and the kids in care receive hands-on support. You’ll receive weekly in-home support visits and 24/7 on-call assistance throughout your fostering journey.
Foster parenting requires a flexible schedule. Children may have appointments, family visits, school needs, and unexpected situations that require an adult to be available.
Foster parents must also be willing to care for children who have experienced trauma and need extra support with their emotions and behaviors.
You don’t have to know everything about foster care before you begin. Our team provides training and ongoing support to help you learn how to meet the needs of the children in your home.
The licensing process takes approximately 100 days. Starting now helps ensure you are ready when a child or sibling group needs a loving foster home.
If you live in Brown County and would like to learn more about foster care or are ready to become a foster parent, we would love to connect with you.
