We are so happy you are exploring how to become a foster parent with us. There is always a need for additional foster homes in Juneau County.
As a new CCR foster parent, you will be licensed as a level 2 (basic) foster home, just like you would with a county foster agency. With experience, foster parents may choose to provide treatment foster care, levels 3 and 4, to care for children with heightened behaviors and emotions. Remaining at level 2 is okay too.
So, what is the difference between CCR and county agencies like Juneau? The differences are mainly found in the amount of support and attention you will receive and the unmatched experience and education of our staff.
We place kids of all ages in Juneau county and many are sibling pairs and groups. A typical placement will last 12-24 months.
If you qualify to be a foster parent and can provide a flexible schedule, love, and stability to children in need of a loving home, we would love to speak with you. We also encourage you to explore our website and find many additional answers to the important foster care questions you have.
