Intake Services Package

Intake Services entails the total procedure of initial referral through final intake assessment report and consult. This total intake package is utilized when an individual is referred for on-going sexual offender or sexual abuse treatment services at C.C.R.-S.T.O.P. Components of the service package include but are not limited to:

 

  • Referral consultation                                   
  • Review referral materials/history
  • Consult with collaterals
  • Interview patient/family
  • Written Intake Assessment
  • Treatment team meetings
  • Court Appearance when necessary
  • Establish Treatment Plan recommendations
  • Transition into active clinical services

Psychosexual Assessments

A Psychosexual Assessment can be requested for any youth-regardless of whether the youth continues with S.T.O.P. clinical services. The Psychosexual Assessment provides an in-depth clinical perspective of the patient including risk assessment and treatment recommendations. This service includes the following:

 

  • Review of past history, court records, social history and all pertinent background materials
  • Personal Consultations with referral and collateral personnel
  • Interview with patient – 2-3 hours
  • Actuarial Assessment scores to predict risk of re-offense (Assessment tools include the  J-SOAP-II Juvenile Sexual Offender Assessment Protocol II, the ERASOR Estimate   Recidivism Assessment for Sex Offender Risk, JSO-Ram Juvenile Sex Offender Risk Assessment, JSORRAT-II Juvenile Sexual Offense Risk Assessment Tool-II, HARE   PCL: YV administered with youth who have traits of psychopathy)
  • Written, detailed Psychosexual Report- typically within two weeks of clinical interview
  • Recommendations to Court via written report and/or personal appearance regarding risk, placement, treatment, appropriateness for juvenile sex offender registry

Sexual Offender Treatment - Monthly/Ongoing

Clinical services are the backbone of the program, which provide consistent, ongoing, intense and individualized involvement with the patient and family. Services include individual, family and group therapy. Consistent and involved case management services are a high priority to provide team information for decision making and accountability. Services also include:

 

  • Court appearances
  • Collateral Consultation
  • Family education
  • Regular treatment team meetings
  • Referral contact and consultation
  • Reports—monthly progress reports and quarterly treatment plan reviews
  • Emergency Consultation services

Relapse Prevention

Relapse Prevention focuses on youth who have successfully completed sexual offender treatment and who would benefit from incorporating the components of their relapse prevention plan in a community setting. Services include:

 

  • Group or Individual Therapy (depending on the youth’s individual treatment needs)
  • Family Therapy (as needed)
  • Court Appearances (either in person or via written report)
  • Collateral Consultation
  • Family Contact/Consultation
  • Referral Contact/Consultation
  • Participation in Treatment Team Meetings (either in person or via written report)
  • Monthly Progress Reports
  • Quarterly Treatment Reviews
  • Emergency Consultation Services

Aftercare

Aftercare services emphasize transitioning youth from ongoing sexual offender or sexual abuse treatment to a successful discharge from S.T.O.P. This program begins during the youth’s last month of S.T.O.P. services. Participation in ongoing sexual offender or sexual abuse treatment programs may be reinstated should the youth require more intensive services. Services include:

 

  • Group or Individual Therapy (depending on the youth’s individual treatment needs)
  • Family Therapy (as needed)
  • Court Appearances (either in person or via written report)
  • Collateral Consultation
  • Family Contact/Consultation
  • Referral Contact/Consultation
  • Participation in Treatment Team Meetings (either in person or via written report)
  • Monthly Progress Reports
  • Quarterly Treatment Reviews
  • Emergency Consultation Services
