In July, Community Care Resources, Inc. sponsors a gathering of foster families and employees at Noah's Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells for a day of fun in the sun. Everyone in attendance enjoys an all-day pass to brave the water slides, wave pool, and amusement rides, as well as the opportunity to visit with CCR staff in a more relaxed setting. Everyone also receives a Partnership in Play t-shirt designed by the CCR support staff to commemorate the event. The lighthearted atmosphere also allowes the staff an opportunity for some play time with the foster children as they cascaded down the lazy river or compete with kids on the bumper cars. Plenty of food, snacks, and candy are provided throughout the day to keep the kids energized, including a “cookout” style lunch. All CCR staff and foster families are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend. Don’t miss out!

In August, Community Care Resources, Inc. hosts its annual family picnic at Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay. Employees and foster families gather for food, fun, and socializing. Food is catered in by Renards and included brats, burgers, salads, and all the fixin’s. The kids keep themselves busy with the various rides, such as the merry go round, swings, and bumper cars. Meanwhile, the adults have a chance to kick back, relax, visit, and share some laughs as they swap stories about their adventures in fostering. Hope to see you there!
